Families come in all different shapes and sizes. You might live with your great-grandmother, four cousins, and two dads in a single-wide trailer. Or you might be raised by a single mom. Or maybe you actually were raised by a pack of wolves. (It happens.)
There are a few different families in Shiver, from Isabel's rich but distant folks, to Grace's working-class yet artsy scatterbrained 'rents, to Sam's furry father and adopted siblings. They all have their pros and cons, but only one of them wouldn't mind if you licked yourself at the dinner table... and that's Isabel's family, because they don't seem like they have dinner together.
Questions About Family

- Are the wolves a good family?
- How does the small glimpse at Isabel and Jack's family life and family home help you to understand their personalities better?
