- Scooter is improving, sort of. He hasn't died, anyway. He has a lot of recovering to do.
- Christmas is a major bummer. Crash can't even get excited about his presents, and he loves presents.
- Scooter won't be home for a while yet, so Crash gets him a normal present: a book about the U.S. Navy. He puts the high heels under his bed.
