Character Analysis
Since she's a DHS spy on Xnet, we never get Masha's real name. (But it turns out that she's also the pink haired girl on the other team playing Harajuku Fun Madness that Marcus and the others run into before the explosion. Small world.)
Masha is a double threat: she's super-good when it comes to tech (she can tunnel video) and she's also a talented double agent. Or is that triple agent?
She makes a plan to help Marcus escape, but then it's not clear if she's actually capturing him instead. It's hard to know where he loyalties lie: she's got a phone picture from before the blast that proves Marcus's story about Darryl, but she also threatens to delete it. And although we never learn whether Masha's working for or against the DHS, we do learn that Masha is pretty much only out for #1.
Marcus realizes this too, and steals the phone, shuts her in moving truck, and escapes from her clutches.
