- Sig tells the mysterious man to wait outside, but he knows that's not gonna happen—and right on cue, the man pushes inside and introduces himself as Gunther Wolff.
- Nothing. The name means nothing to Sig, which Wolff figures is because he's too young to remember him.
- Because Wolff sure remembers Sig, even though he hasn't seen him in ten years—he knew Einar back in Nome, and he knew Sig's mom and sister too.
- Suddenly Wolff asks Sig if that's his dad underneath the blanket.
