Trusting
- The next day, Bobby's mom comes home from the hospital. In true mom fashion, she asks him to clean up as soon as she walks through the door. It's nice to see you too, Mom.
- Bobby announces that he's going to the library to meet up with a friend, which totally horrifies his mom.
- When she asks him if he's told anyone about his invisibility, Bobby spills the beans. His mom is understandably upset, but Bobby tells her that this is his life and it's his decision to make if he wants to trust someone.
- He leaves the house in a foul mood, especially since it's even colder outside today. When he gets to the library, though, he's glad he came. Alicia looks nice, as though she's dressed up for a date.
- They start talking about their families, and Bobby even asks Alicia about how she went blind.
- Apparently she woke up two years ago and accidentally hit her head. She went back to sleep, but in the morning… she just couldn't see anything. Bobby tells her that he just woke up to find out that he was invisible, too.
- She says that ever since she's gone blind, she feels invisible too, like people don't really take her into account or think about her future anymore. She tells him that she was popular before it happened, but most of her friends just disappeared.
- At this point, a man barges into the room. He is Alicia's dad, and he wants to know exactly who she's talking to right now.
