Destinations
- Bobby finally meets up with Alicia, but doesn't say anything because her mom is following her—apparently she didn't believe Alicia when she said that she was headed out to the library.
- They go over to the library for appearances sake, and Alicia's mom sits on a bench out front. She's complicating their plans, but Bobby can't help but feel sorry for her.
- Ten minutes later, she gets up and goes back home. That's when Bobby goes upstairs to find Alicia, and they hail a cab in order to get to the Sears corporate headquarters.
- Their plan is that Bobby is going to go into the building and snoop for information by himself, and that Alicia is going to wait for him; he tells her that she should go in and ask about applying for a job.
- As they travel, he watches Alicia's face and realizes that she's completely alert, even though she can't see the landscape passing out. She's still taking in information from the trip.
- They get to the corporate headquarters, and Alicia goes right to the front desk and asks about hiring practices for people with disabilities. You've got to hand it to her—she's a smooth operator.
- Alicia gets taken off by personnel to talk about hiring practices, so Bobby's off to the legal department to find some names and numbers.
