Connections
- His parents set some new ground rules for him: He's not allowed to use the home phone anymore, and if he sends emails, he needs to erase his tracks. His mom gives him her cell phone, though, because he's pretty torn up about the idea of not being able to talk to Alicia.
- They talk about books for a while, and then she tells him that she cares about him and wants to protect him.
- He tells her that he's been thinking about whether or not there are other invisible people out there. Because their conversation is getting personal, they start bickering a little bit and almost hang up on each other, but they don't. Phew.
- Bobby reveals to her that he has to have an idea, because if not, he's going to have to tell the authorities about his condition in order to keep his parents out of jail.
- Alicia makes him promise not to do anything crazy, and tells him that she is always here to talk—they can even go for a walk together sometime, if he can get out.
