My Life
- Bobby spends the next day hanging out at home and talking to his parents on the phone. It's not quite as glamorous as you might think life as an invisible dude would be.
- His dad is more concerned with Bobby's situation than his own. He wants to run some tests on him as soon as he can, and he also wants Bobby to go online and read some scientific journals to see if they have any relevant information. Yeah, right.
- Sometime during the afternoon, his neighbor Mrs. Trent rings the doorbell and tells him that she's made him some cookies. He says that he has the flu and that he can't open the door, so she leaves them on the porch for his Aunt Ethel to fetch later.
- After she leaves, Bobby knows that she's going to be eyeing their house to get a glimpse of Aunt Ethel, so he dresses up in his mom's terry cloth robe and fuzzy blue slippers and goes outside to pick up the cookies.
- On Thursday, Bobby pretty much does the same thing—he lounges around the house and talks to his parents. But he also starts to worry like crazy. What if he stays like this forever? What in the world is his life going to look like?
- Because the weather is warm today, he takes off all his clothes and decides that he's going to go for a walk. He can't just sit at home all day. He has a life to live, even if it's a weird one.
