Then
- Toussaint checks out Guildive from the top of a hill. It's a small town, but it's where the next battle will go down.
- The opponent? The English.
- A few months have passed, and Toussaint and Jean-Christophe are still hard at work for the slaves' freedom.
- On their to-do list? Get an official declaration from the Republic of France for the slaves' freedom. Check.
- Next up, they have to take down the English.
- It turns out the slaves are worth more (900 million francs) than the exports they produce (200 million francs), which was news to Toussaint.
- Naturally, everyone starts echoing Paul Revere by shouting, "The British are coming!"
- First up, Jean-Christophe heads over to the British camp for a top-secret mission.
- Since he's white, they figure the British will be more likely to trust him. He'll go in with a sob story about being kicked out of his home by the slaves, and when they let him take shelter, he'll blow up their ammo ship. Sounds simple enough.
- He and Toussaint have a tearful goodbye before parting ways.
- The day of the battle, Toussaint tells his men where to go. He sends the French in first so the British don't see the attack coming. Boo-ya.
- Next up, Jean-Christophe sets the gunpowder ship on fire. There are flames everywhere, burning some of the British. Bonus? Their supplies are gone, too.
- Toussaint just hopes his buddy made it out okay.
- Someone asks Toussaint if they should burn the rest of the ships, but he instructs them not to.
