- Just when the drama at Taylor's House dies down, stuff starts happening that gets it riled up again.
- First, two girls disappear from a nearby town. This is enough to bring back the serial killer rumors to the dorms, particularly for Jessa.
- Richard attempts to take control of the Underground Community, and in response, the Cadets take three seventh grade girls from one of the school's Houses hostage.
- Raffaela, Ben, and Taylor go to see the Cadets to deal with the hostage situation. Richard comes, too, and makes a point of standing with Taylor like they're co-leaders or something.
- Jonah says the girls were taken hostage because they crossed boundary lines; he refuses to return them because according to the rules of the territory wars, they have the right to keep them held captive.
- Nonetheless, Jonah lets them go. He then asks Richard if he's in charge. When he says that he technically is, Jonah punches him in the face and forces him to accept Taylor's authority.
- Once the crowd disperses and the girls are released, Taylor slaps Jonah for stepping in to handle the situation with Richard. Basically, she feels like he thought she couldn't fight her own battles because she's a girl. Yeah, Jonah, that's kind of sexist.
- Jonah warns them to protect their boundaries to keep a scene like that from happening again.
- Later, Taylor goes to see the girls the Cadets took hostage and debriefs them about what happened. They describe the layout of the camp, including the location of the Brigadier's tent.
- Hmm… Could Taylor be plotting something?
