Whether we're talking about the original five of the 1980s or Taylor's bunch in 2006, the Jellicoe Road is the center of these characters' universe. Actually, if it weren't for the accident that took the lives of the Markhams and Schroeders, we wouldn't even have Taylor's story at all. As a result, everything in these characters' lives, from their relationships to the course their destinies take, comes back to the Jellicoe Road, the unifying location for all of them.
