Epilogue—Road Trip
- Vera and her dad are on the highway, headed for the beach. Her dad keeps saying that he hasn't done something this daring since he met her mother, and she tells him to stop worrying about work.
- Both of their signs fly off and Vera sees it as symbolic—they've both transcended the boxes that people put them in.
- Later on, they're at a seafood place looking out to the ocean. For the first time, Vera feels like she and her dad are friends and that they're in this together as a team.
