How It All Goes Down
Sam – 32°F
- In the car, Sam receives a call from Beck. (Maybe his ringtone is “Two Turntables and a Microphone.”)Sam is still angry with Beck for turning those three people into werewolves, so he hangs up on him.
- The phone call leads into a conversation between Sam and Grace about how long Sam has been a werewolf, and how it happened. Answer: Eleven years ago, when Sam was seven, and he was attacked getting onto the school bus.
- Sam realizes something as he tells the story to Grace: “My attack had been no accident. I'd been chosen, hunted down, and dragged into the street to be infected” (44.39).
- They get to Grace's house, make out, and... well, let's just say we hope Grace doesn't end up having puppies after what they do with each other.
