- Grace is worried that Sam is late picking her up from school.
- She's relieved when the Bronco shows up and she jumps right in... and quickly becomes the total opposite of relieved when it's not Sam driving it, but Jack.
- Jack won't tell Grace where Sam is unless she tells him the cure. Plus, he reveals that he bit Olivia.
- Thinking fast, Grace calls Beck and tells him, “[Jack] has Sam somewhere and he won't tell me where he is unless he gets some of the cure” (48.47).
- Falling for it, Jack drives Grace to Beck's house.
