- She decides to ask Dory Maud for an advance on her teapots, so she hops on her bike to Hastaway.
- Turns out that Thomas Gratton is headed that way, so he picks up Puck.
- On the way, they see another person headed that direction: Sean Kendrick.
- Puck practically acts like he's a stinky hitchhiker. She glares at him, still angry that he told her to stay off the beach.
- It's so chilly in that car, Thomas Gratton doesn't need to turn on the air condition.
- But the chill lifts as they get close to town, and Sean Kendrick offers a capall to Puck.
