Puck

• Puck and Finn watch as a bunch of men train their horses on the beach. Puck is especially captivated by a sleek red one "so beautiful that [her] eyes prickle" (7.4).
• It may be a pretty sight, but it makes Puck wonder how she'll get one of her own.
• None of the horse mongers will sell Puck a horse, not even if she promises to give them four-fifths of her winnings. 
• She ends up finding the man with the piebald mare. He wants to see if she can handle it.
