Character Analysis
Buddy Kane is a toothy, chiseled, and good-looking real estate agent. He's also as slick as an oil spill.
Carolyn initially views him as her rival, since he's the hotshot in their town (and she's not), but they eventually end up having an affair. Unfortunately for poor Carolyn, who really can't catch a break in the film, Buddy decides he's going to return to his wife right after Lester catches the two of them canoodling. Basically, he's a snake.
