The Inadvertent I
- As Ulysses sits in front of the computer this time, he thinks about how it's a little different than the typewriter at Flora's house; all the keys are in the same place, though, so it can't be too different.
- Flora, Tootie, and William gather around the squirrel to see if he can actually type.
- Ulysses looks around the room, thinking about what to say—he wants to write the truth, but he's not exactly sure what that is.
- He gets closer to the keyboard and types I.
- William points out that doesn't prove anything. Anyone could accidently type an I on the keyboard, but Flora thinks he's starting a sentence.
- They wait and wait for Ulysses to finish his idea.
