Chapter 131: January 11
- Alice, her family, and Chris spend the weekend in a cabin in the woods that belongs to one of Alice's dad's colleagues. They have a blast, and wholesome good times abound.
Chapter 132: January 13
- Alice gets asked out by George, who is "kind of nothing," but safe. Gee, that's exactly how you want to feel about a prospective boyfriend, isn't it?
Chapter 133: January 14
- Alice is being strong-armed by Lane, to whom she used to sell drugs. He assaults her, insisting that she find him a new contact and enough drugs to get him through the night. Yikes.
Chapter 134: January 15
- That guy Lane calls her house so many times (that's harassment, bro) that Alice's mom encourages her to stay home from school. At least Alice has a pseudo-ally in her mom this time, right?
Chapter 135: January 17
- Alice goes to the dance with George, but she doesn't have any fun because she is obsessing over Joe and Lane.
Chapter 136: January 20
- Alice's mom volunteers to help her make a new leather-looking outfit to keep her busy for the weekend since they can't go away again. (But doesn't a leather-looking suit sound really sweaty?)
Chapter 137: January 21
- Gloria and Babs harass Alice on the way home from school (about drugs—obviously); Alice doesn't know how to get them to leave her alone.
Chapter 138: January 24
- Well, so much for her will-power and her good friend Chris. Chris invites Alice over and they smoke pot together and cry about how much they missed it.
- Alice vacillates between feeling guilty about smoking and reveling in how much she loves it.
Chapter 139: January 26
- Alice is embracing being back on drugs, and dumps George because he's a big old square.
Chapter 140: January 30
- Now Lane is Alice's new BFF, because he can get her whatever drugs she wants. Her current flavor of choice is uppers.
