Chapter 181: April 13
- Her mom's birthday has gone really well—the dinner she lovingly prepared turned out excellently, especially considering that it was the first complete meal she's ever made.
- Alice's dad remarks that she'll make a fine wife someday (oh phew) and she really hopes that comes true.
Chapter 182: April 14
- Alice takes a nice, long bath and assesses herself. She decides she likes her body, and she's glad she's a girl despite what she might've thought when she was messed up on drugs.
Chapter 183
- Alice is psyched because she feels like she aced her exams. You go, girl.
Chapter 184: April 19
- Oh boy, here we go again: Jan (one of her old friends) invites her to a party. Alice declines, but Jan just thinks that she's being extra careful after her drug bust.
Chapter 185: April 21
- Alice is bummed out. She wants to hang with the "square" kids because they're clean, but they all know she was a druggie and won't accept her. On the other side of the coin, the druggies keep pursuing her to hang, and she doesn't want to fall into bad habits.
- She really wants to feel like a normal teenager and have awkward dates where the most action she gets is the old arm around the shoulder yawn trick.
Chapter 186: April 24
- Alice is getting bullied by Jan and her other druggie friends; they seem to resent her attempt at being clean.
Chapter 187: April 27
- She's pretty lonely.
Chapter 188: April 28
- Alice got some grades back, and there's nothing under a B+. Looks like she's gotten her stuff together, at least academically.
Chapter 189: May 1
- Gramps had a stroke, so her parents are flying out to be with her Gran.
- She thinks it's so sweet that her parents are worried to leave her, ya know, because she's been so lonely. We're sure it has nothing to do with worrying that she'll start doing drugs again…
- Alice has the realization that she's not the only one who feels things so deeply, and she's scared that Gramps is going to die.
Chapter 190
- Gramps has taken a turn for the worse, and is now in a coma; Alice tries to comfort her little siblings as best as she knows how.
