- It's been a month and a half since the incident at the club, and Annabel's back to being a complete loner at school. Owen's definitely not talking to her anymore—he's furious with her for ditching him.
- At school Annabel hears the big news—apparently Emily's gone to the cops about what Will did to her. She actually told.
- There are also rumors that Will has done this sort of thing to other girls before and is well known at Perkins Day for his bad behavior. Annabel just can't get over the fact that Emily went public.
- Sophie doesn't get much support at school though, and people kind of avoid her because she still stands steadily by Will Cash even though all evidence points to the fact that he's a complete jerk.
- Kristen's coming home for Thanksgiving, so the whole family is abuzz for the holidays.
- Whitney's been cooking more often, so she'll be making the main course. This Moira Bell method is working out for her after all—she's even been writing more and taking care of her little herb garden.
- Kristen's over the moon happy too—she's won first place in the film competition at her school. And their mom's excited that the Kopf people want Annabel for their spring commercial. They think Annabel's a good role model.
- Annabel, on the other hand, is miserable. She feels isolated and doesn't feel like a role model at all—after all, Emily was the one who went to the police, not her.
- Will's trial is coming up and Annabel can never really escape from the news that surrounds it. She sees Sophie at school, but she's always alone.
- Even though she and Owen aren't talking anymore, Annabel is working her way through all those CDs that he made her. They're still weird, but she'll try to get through them all anyway.
