Who is the narrator, can she or he read minds, and, more importantly, can we trust her or him?
First Person (Central)
Notice how Kiriel talks directly to us, like we're hanging out with him? He's all I did this and I thought that—and this is what makes Repossessed a first person story. We hear exactly what Kiriel, our narrator, thinks and feels about, well, everything. Check it out: "After I finished the shower, I filled up the tub and took a bath. I filled it as high as it would go. I liked this water; I liked the feeling of it. It was warm and floaty" (4.1). It's all Kiriel, all the time—even into the tub.
