The Egyptian Hall
- That night, Lizzie Rose and Parsefall set off without the dogs following them for once. They go to a nice restaurant with real tablecloths and order all the food they could ever want.
- Then, they walk to The Egyptian Hall so they can get there in time for the show, which turns out to be absolutely amazing.
- For two hours, Parsefall is completely transfixed. Lizzie Rose loves the show, too, but she also likes watching Parsefall's face as he stares at all the different puppets and how they move.
- After the show ends, Parsefall runs behind the stage because he wants to ask the puppeteers if they'll take him on as an apprentice.
- A moment later, Lizzie Rose sees him get thrown out; he looks horribly upset. Parsefall says the puppeteers don't want him.
