The Sixth Sense Scene 10 Summary

  • We're looking at a fancy restaurant, and Malcolm appears to be late for dinner with his wife.
  • He says, "I thought you meant the other Italian restaurant where I asked you to marry me." She doesn't seem to appreciate the humor.
  • He apologizes, saying he has had a lot of trouble keeping track of time recently. What's that about? Health problems from that shooting we never heard anything more about?
  • He tells her about the bad session with Cole. He thinks that Cole might be abused. It seems that Cole might be reminding him of his former patient, Vincent. She doesn't say anything.
  • The check comes, and Anna grabs the bill before Malcolm can get it.
  • He's still trying to justify himself and explain why he wants to get it right with Cole; it's a second chance and all that.
  • She's still not responding, but she's clearly very emotional. She gets up and says, "Happy anniversary." Whoa, that's the night he decides to be late? He's a psychologist. He should probably know better.
