- Cassie's in the gas station. Everything looks the same as usual, but something's off.
- She pulls out her huge gun and readies to shoot if necessary.
- As she walks around, she hears a moan from the back room. Against her better judgment, she decides to investigate.
- Cassie says the first rule of survival now is not trusting anyone. She sounds a little paranoid, but then again she seems to be one of the few people alive in this world.
- She learned this "don't trust people" thing the hard way, when her father died. Sounds like it was the work of the Others.
- Even though it's important not to trust people, Cassie knows that's not a good way to be. She thinks that isolating people is part of the Others' plan.
- Cassie makes it to the back room. The door's open and she can still hear the moans.
