- Zombie's back in the hospital, just waking up. He's a little hazy from the painkillers.
- Vosch is in the room. Zombie tells him the person who shot him was Ringer. He leaves out the part where he asked her to do it.
- Zombie tells Vosch parts of the truth. He admits that they found Reznik. He lies and says that's the reason Ringer shot him.
- Zombie says the whole squad figured out the alien conspiracy. But he lies and says that he, Zombie, didn't believe. That's why he was shot.
- Vosch is staring at Zombie. It seems like he's trying to decide whether or not he buys this story.
- Vosch asks why Zombie's tracker was cut out. Zombie says that it was because he played along with the squad for a while, waiting for an opening.
- Vosch wants to know about the handheld device. Zombie says he assumes that Reznik needed it in case anyone went crazy.
- Zombie knows that Vosch might not buy his story. It's not a perfect plan, but it was the best he could come up with.
- Vosch seems to have bought it (for now). He tells Zombie they're going to pull him off the pain meds so he can go through the Wonderland program for mapping.
