Stalked, Chased, Threatened, Poisoned, Etc.
- You'd think Ulysses would be hurt or at the very least surprised at hearing someone plotting to kill him, but sadly he is not. In the life of a squirrel, this is all normal when it comes to humans.
- Plus, he's already had many run-ins with raccoons, BB guns, cats, and slingshots (to name just a few), so someone suggesting he get beaten with a shovel isn't too surprising for Ulysses. Flora tells him not to worry anyway, though, and promises the "malfeasance" will stop soon.
- Now, you might know that's just a fancy word for wrongdoing, but to Ulysses, it sounds like poetry.
