The Giant Do-Nut
- Flora's dad tells her to leave the squirrel in the car, but she doesn't budge. It's way too hot outside, and what if someone steals him?
- Even though he thinks this is a load of hooky, Flora's dad agrees to let her bring the squirrel inside the restaurant as long as he stays in the box.
- As they walk inside, Ulysses pokes his head out and he and Flora see a sign saying "Giant Donuts Inside." Yum. Best combination of words ever.
- Flora wonders who is dunking the donut that's on the sign. It's over a cup of coffee, but there's no hand or anything dunking it.
- Hmm… she considers the possibility that we are all like donuts, ready to be dunked.
- This reminds Flora to warn Ulysses about the shovel again. She tells her squirrel to stay alert—especially when it comes to her parents—just in case this is one big trick.
- He's not a donut; he's a superhero. Remember that.
