Character Analysis
Damiana is the second woman who Juan meets in Comala. She takes him away from Eduviges' house and into the street. She used to be the cook up at the Media Luna ranch, and took care of Juan when he was just a baby. She disappears into the night, leaving Juan alone, and this is when he starts to realize that things in Comala are super-duper creepy.
