How It All Goes Down
- Outside the temple, a horse enjoys an afternoon nosebag, and Rincewind feels like he recognizes the beast even though it isn't Twoflower's.
- Druellae waves her hand and the image shifts to inside the temple. The shape they now see is instantly familiar to Rincewind. Enter one Hrun the Barbarian into the tale.
- With everyone focusing on Hrun, Rincewind makes a break for the portal. He does fairly well given it's Rincewind we're talking about here, but he doesn't quite make it.
- Druellae commands the "false wizard" to stop, and Rincewind's had enough of that (2.6.17)—he's a real wizard, darn it, and he'd like some respect.
- Druellae reads his mind to see what spells he's got tucked away in there and is horrified to see that spell. She commands for him to be taken far from the tree and killed.
- Rincewind bolts for the portal and makes it this time.
