Geoffrey Wiltshire

Character Analysis

Wiltshire is the man who gets the promotion that Tristram was hoping for, and as the new Head of the Social Studies Department, he doesn't waste any time before telling Tristram to watch what he says in class. Tristram is surprised to learn that Wiltshire has been listening in on his lessons, and even more upset to hear that he's not allowed to say true things about historical representations of sexuality. Like Principal Joscelyne, Wiltshire makes it clear that if Tristram doesn't toe the line, he's going to lose his job, or worse.
