- We learn a bit more about Mickey: Susan describes Mickey as getting along better with animals than humans.
- On land, Wahoo yells at Mickey for going in the water with their cell phone in his pocket. It is now broken, though in his defense it isn't like he knew he was going to be thrown overboard.
- Mickey asks Tuna if she has an international chip in her phone to call China, but there is no service in the middle of the Everglades.
- Then Tuna decides to take a walk and Mickey orders Wahoo to join her.
- The night sky is dark so Wahoo brings a flashlight.
- Tuna names all of the trees by their Latin names. Whoa, that is a handy skill.
- Hearing voices, the kids run into the Expedition Survival! crew's camp, so they eavesdrop and overhear them telling funny stories about Derek.
- Tuna is confused about why they make Derek out to be a fool (she is a huge fan of the show), but then the cameraman walks to the trees where they're hiding to pee.
- Um, yikes and gross. Quickly, Tuna shakes a branch and growls to scare him away before he can pee on them.
- Before walking back to their camp, Tuna grabs the script that the cameraman dropped on the ground.
- They read the beginning of the script and Tuna is really bummed that the show is so fake and feels stupid for believing it was spontaneous.
- At the hotel, Derek yells at the waiter for bringing him a small lobster. Then he thinks about how his contract expires soon and how he needs to do something great on this episode to get more money with the next contract.
- The narrator pops in to let us know that Derek just bought a big yacht, and he needs more money to pay for it. Also, Derek was offered a ten percent raise but he wants more than that. Greedy, greedy, greedy.
- Derek obsesses about how exciting and dangerous the Alice scene is and how he needs to make the rest of the episode just as great.
- The narrator gives his official opinion about Derek here: Most people would be thankful to be alive and wouldn't be eager to have another near-death experience any time soon, but not Derek. He feels on top of the world.
- Actually, Derek wants to be chomped by all the wild animals of the Everglades.
