- The search that lasts all afternoon is fruitless, meaning they don't find Derek.
- Not that we need to be told this, but the narrator reminds us that Derek doesn't have much common sense and has never been out on his own in the wilderness.
- Raven and the director are worried that Derek will die.
- Back on Sickler's dock, Raven begins yelling at Mickey and asking for ideas to help find Derek.
- Mickey thinks they should just continue searching tomorrow, though.
- Although he has been quiet, Link speaks up and lets them know he is angry and if his airboat is broken, he will hurt Derek.
- So with that tension looming, Raven asks a few people to have a secret meeting.
- Mickey tells the kids to set up tents.
- While unloading their sleeping bags, Tuna asks Wahoo who named him.
- He tells her how Susan and Mickey agreed that they would each get to name one of their children. Mickey named Wahoo after his favorite wrestler.
- Then Tuna finds the script and they read the end of it, which has Derek carving a canoe with a pocketknife.
- Even though they think he is super lame, they also hope he isn't dead; Tuna recalls how Expedition Survival! was her favorite TV show.
- Out in the swamp, Derek eats snails and a frog, which tastes gross, and is surprised that he isn't a vampire yet.
- The itch from poison ivy tricks him into thinking it is sign of turning into a vampire.
- Finding Link's water bottle, Derek chugs it down quickly without thinking once about saving any for later.
- Derek tries to record his vampire transformation on the helmet camera, but can't speak because his tongue is so swollen.
- Finally, after eating some pork rinds he finds in the boat, he hides away to sleep and dreams about sweet desserts.
