- He was fired because he asked for even more money, and Gerry was all too happy to turn him down and hire the New Zealander over this little dispute.
- After being offered a promotion to line producer by Gerry, Raven said no… but then changed her mind after meeting the new star online.
- Back to the present: Derek is unhappy on his yacht after getting fired.
- He watches the Everglades episode and wishes it had shown him attacking Jared.
- Getting fired makes Derek really upset.
- Flashback: Derek made a complaint to his union over being fired but they didn't get back to him. He was offered some other acting opportunities on reality shows.
- Derek was considering taking a risky spot on a show that wants him to do his own stunts, but he is even more overweight now.
- Back to the present again: Derek watches the episode and eats an éclair, then arranges to watch the vampire movies he loves.
- Link survives the surgery that removed a bullet fragment from his lung and, feeling grateful, calls Wahoo up and offers him another airboat driving lesson.
- Sickler makes a lot of money off of tourists who visit because of Derek's adventure there.
- When Susan returns from China, she is happy that the home mortgage has been paid, but doesn't believe Mickey's story about losing his big toe.
- We also learn that Julie Cray threatens to sue Gerry Germaine—who refuses to pay the Crays—and he ends up giving the family all of the money the show earned plus paying Mickey's medical bills.
- Gerry also offers Mickey a spot on the new show, which he absolutely refuses.
- Tuna and Wahoo keep in touch via cell phone, since she goes to live with her mother and grandmother in Chicago. They will see each other soon.
