Day
- Unaware of June's plan, Day tries to break out of the prison.
- To do so, he builds up his courage and then fakes a coughing attack—the guards get nervous because they think he might be sick.
- When they come closer, he quickly takes one of the soldiers hostage and then rushes out into the hallway. He wants to find John and Eden and escape, but…
- He gets hit across the face and caught by Captain Jameson and Thomas, who quickly take him back into custody.
- June comes over and he realizes that she's the one who hit him in the face with a rifle.
- But then, when Captain Jameson isn't looking, she comes over and whispers to him that he shouldn't try to escape again without her help.
- That's definitely not what Day was expecting her to say, but sure, he'll take it.
- Captain Jameson tells Day about a renegade they had who tried to escape a long time ago, and how Captain Jameson herself killed him instead of letting him die by firing squad.
- Day bites her hand and she slams him against the wall.
- When she leaves, Day just sits there and thinks about what June said… and how crazy it all is.
