  • That night Thomas stands outside June's door and keeps apologizing about throwing her down, but she just sits on the couch with Ollie and ignores him. She's kind of traumatized by how he killed all those people.
  • She sits there after Thomas gives up and she thinks about everything that's happened, including what Day said about the plague.
  • Metias left behind a pile of journals when he died, so she starts reading them to comfort herself. She also pulls up the crime report from the night of Metias's death.
  • She notices something that she never saw before—it looks like there is a wound on Metias's shoulder. Maybe Day was telling the truth after all. The photos also look blurry, which is weird because usually they're crisp.
  • The knife in the photo also looks like the handle is covered with rifle grease. June suddenly recalls how the night of Metias's death, Thomas showed up with rifle grease on his hands and his forehead. Uh-oh…
