- R-13 rises and praises the State in various industrial terms. Lots of "the world was renovated" and "a sum of steel" in there.
- Then they kill the criminal: he's placed in the Machine and the Well-Doer pretty much atomizes him.
- D-503 notes how passionate and excited the onlookers are at these executions. He's pretty jazzed about it too.
