How It All Goes Down
- Natasha tells Daniel facts about Jamaica. He asks her for one thing she misses, and she says she misses the beach and the beautiful blue-green water.
- He says it sounds nice, and they're both on the verge of crying.
- They go back to their love questionnaire, and Daniel asks what her most embarrassing moment is.
- She says seeing Rob in the record store was pretty embarrassing because he cheated on her, and she called him earlier to ask why.
- Daniel's surprised and thinks Rob's answer about wanting them both is ridiculous.
- She says her parents never met Rob, and they discuss how both of their parents would probably (or definitely, in Daniel's case) prefer for them to marry somebody of the same ethnicity.
- Natasha says maybe they're just trying to protect them, and Daniel says he hopes "their kids" will do better than that—not "their kids," but the next generation.
- Natasha's majorly bummed to even acknowledge that she and Daniel won't have kids.
- Natasha looks at the NYC skyline and knows she'll compare every other skyline in the world to this one. "Just as I will always compare every boy to Daniel" (313).
