How It All Goes Down
- Our star-crossed lovers are on their way to the airport.
- They imagine what their future would have been like together, and even cynical Natasha thinks they would have worked out in the end.
- Natasha tells him he shouldn't be a doctor. She doesn't know if she wants to be a data scientist any more.
- They go back to their love questionnaire. They have two questions left, plus the four-minute eye contact thing.
- Natasha suggests making out, and their driver Miguel teases that he can see them, but they kiss anyway.
- Back to the questions: Natasha doesn't have anything important enough to save from a fire and Daniel would save his notebook.
- Another question: Natasha would find her dad's death the most disturbing, because he has more to do with his life, and Daniel would be most disturbed by hers. She says they're not family, but he says they are.
- Natasha says, "I love you, Daniel" (332).
- "He grins at her. ‘I guess the questionnaire worked.' She smiles. ‘Yay, science.' A moment passes. ‘I know,' Daniel says. ‘I already know.'" (332)
- Excuse us...we were just...chopping onions...and a piece got in our eyes. Be right back.
