How It All Goes Down
- Natasha accurately assesses that Daniel isn't thinking about her and how she must be feeling right now.
- She tells him if he thinks it's so easy to tell the truth, he should just tell his parents he doesn't want to be a doctor.
- She thinks he's looking for somebody to save him, and she quotes a poem by Warsan Shire about why people shouldn't try to "make a home out of human beings" (196-197).
- NOTE: This poem, ironically, is titled "For Women Who Are Difficult To Love."
- She tells Daniel to save himself.
