Character Analysis
Jenna is Cam's perfect, chipper, cheerleading twin sister. She's popular, beautiful, and seems to coast through life without many obstacles, which stands in direct contrast to Cameron's high school experience. In fact, Cameron often feels as though his existence is just a blemish on her perfect existence:
Jenna's seen me but she's pretending she hasn't. When you're pre-majoring in perfection, having a brother who's a social paramecium is a real drawback. While our tense family situation has forced me further into my shell, it's made Jenna into a shining example of teen perfection. Perfect hair, perfect grades, perfect social standing. (3.4)
Their tense relationship gets some sweet closure when Cam runs into her at the YA! Party House and they finally have a conversation that doesn't end in anger. Though real-life Jenna may never know it, her brother dies at peace with her.
