- The flock flies back to Central Park and then heads down to the subway in order to find that homeless encampment they stayed at before. Things are a bit awkward between Fang and Max.
- Max falls asleep and is in the middle of another brain explosion when someone grabs her arm. She wakes up to find that it's the guy from before—the one who accused her of messing with his computer.
- She looks at the computer screen to see a bunch of random words, images, and maps. When the guy asks her if she has a chip that's causing it, she tells him that she has one implanted in her.
- He immediately freaks out and tells her that having a chip like that implanted in her is bad news. Then he runs off.
