- When Dr. Martinez finds out that Max intends to meet up with her friends by flying, she says that it'd be dangerous for her to strain her injury before it's healed. They really should take an X- first to see the extent of the damage.
- They go to Dr. Martinez's office, where she tells everyone that Max is Ella's friend and is getting a tour of the office for a school report.
- Max freezes in the examining room from the smell (which reminds her of the School), but Dr. Martinez reassures her that she's safe. They take the X-ray, and then Dr. Martinez shows it to Max, who is fascinated.
- It looks like there's only muscle damage, and so her wing bones are completely fine.
- Dr. Martinez points out a square on the X-ray that's in Max's forearm, and tells her it looks like a microchip. Dr. Martinez explains that it might have a tracer, which would allow the scientists to track Max down… wherever she is.
