Who is the narrator, can she or he read minds, and, more importantly, can we trust her or him?
Third Person (Limited Omniscient)
The entirety of The Raven Boys is told from a third person perspective, which lets us see everything that is going on at any single time. As readers, we get both a point-by-point observation of what is going on as well as a deeper dive into characters' minds at times. This is how we get to see what certain characters—like Blue, Gansey, and Adam—are thinking in specific scenes. We get to see that Adam is torn up about his decision to leave home, that Blue really wants to kiss Adam (but can't), and that Gansey feels trapped in his rich boy life.
