- Gansey calls Adam while he's working at the factory and tells him that he's coming to get him. Since Gansey respects Adam's work schedule, this means that something serious has happened.
- They all get back to Gansey's apartment and Gansey starts yelling for Noah to come out. He's figured out that Noah has been dead all this time, since they've never seen him go to class, eat, or sleep. His full name is Noah Czerny, and he's been dead for seven years.
- As Gansey is explaining how he and Blue found a body, and how he's spent the afternoon talking with police, Noah shows up and tells them that he's always told them that he's been dead for seven years.
- Gansey tries to ask him who killed him, but Noah doesn't want to answer. He disappears right in front of their eyes.
